According to Lutheran Pastor Dr. Lawrence White,

"Americans have come to dwell in an Alice in Wonderland world of fantasy, of self-delusion. The nation's leaders wallow in deceit while the people look on in apathetic indifference....Families are fractured and marriages broken while self-obsessed people pursue the immediate gratification of their every desire through all forms of fornication and pornography...the innocents are slaughtered...militant homosexuals pursue absolute approval...sin is elevated to sovereignty, Satan adored as a saint, and man magnified above his Maker. We are fast degenerating into a decadent culture obsessed with selfishness and sin, death and destruction while the Church and her pastors stand silent and afraid."

So how did we sink to such depths?

Christians went to sleep!  We believed the lies of the secularists that "Religion and Politics don't mix", that "Separation of Church and State" was in the Constitution, that the Founders were "deists," not Christians, that non-Christians knew best when it came to civil government.

For lack of knowledge - including the truth about our Christian Heritage and our "Salt and Light" responsibility - we became duped into believing we were supposed to go to the "back of the bus" when it came to civil government.

Instead of standing boldy for the truth in our churches and in the public square, we hid in our churches, and avoided speaking out on the issues.   We wrongly believed that our VOTES would make little difference, and as a result...we quit VOTING!

It is time to ACT!

There are 52 million VOTER ELIGIBLE, Bible believing evangelical and charismatic Christians in America -- the largest voting block in the nation!  But 19 million of them DID NOT VOTE in the 2004 General Election!  19 MILLION!

And we wonder why secular elites dominate and control our media, education, courts, state legislatures, governorships, federal senate and house of representatives.

The solution is extraordinarily simple!  An AWAKENING in the hearts of our pastors; anointed and fearless preaching from our pulpits; and pews full of REGISTERED and VOTING citizens who love America and the virtuous liberty of the Gospel upon which our nation was founded!
